01 / What I do

Every track deserves a real listen.

From mixing and mastering to production and audio restoration, I listen to each project and choose the approach that best serves its music.

01

Mastering

I refine singles, EPs and albums using a carefully selected analog and digital signal chain.

02

Vinyl mastering

I prepare tracks for vinyl, paying close attention to sound and the details that can cause distortion or stylus skips.

03

Mixing

I balance and shape each element of a track to give the music cohesion, character and space.

04

Production

I develop your music alongside a team of professionals whose expertise spans different genres, helping bring your ideas to life and express their distinctive identity.

05

Consulting

I listen to your track and identify technical aspects of the mix worth improving before mastering.

06

Audio restoration

I restore and improve dialogue, live and studio recordings, and audio from vinyl, cassettes and tape.

I'm a mastering engineer, producer and musician from Rimini. After many years at Naïve Recording Studio in Fano, I opened Lagrange Mastering: a place where experience, tools and curiosity come together in attentive listening.

I want to understand what makes each track distinctive and help it reach its final form. There is no one-size-fits-all solution: the music always comes first.

A room built for listening.

Lagrange Mastering is my studio in Misano Adriatico, Italy. Kii Three monitors and a chain of analog outboard equipment sit alongside a precise digital workflow. I choose the tools for what each track needs.

07 / Teaching

Sharing the art of listening.

I teach audio and mastering through lessons, courses and ear training sessions. We start with real-world examples: learning to recognize a sonic choice is the first step toward making it with intention.

Alessandro Ciuffetti / Bio & background

From music to sound.

I'm Alessandro Ciuffetti, a mastering engineer, producer and musician from Rimini. I started out as a drummer: in the early 2000s, I performed throughout Italy with Brevia and, together with the band, founded a recording studio called The House of Glam.

My curiosity about sound led me to study audio engineering at Francesco De Benedittis's Naïve Recording Studio. Over the following years, working across recording, production and mastering, I collaborated with artists, producers and labels, developing an approach that combines musical sensitivity with technical precision.

In 2026 I founded Lagrange Mastering Studio in Misano Adriatico: a room dedicated to analog and hybrid mastering, designed to support careful sonic decisions through control and reliable monitoring.

Training and experience

Encounters and collaborations

Over the years, I've contributed to projects involving Max Gazzè, Valentino Rossi, Raphael Gualazzi, Eddie Brock, Joan Thiele and many others. I also continued performing live with Filippo Graziani, Gli Ex and Paul Gordon Manners, a well-known producer and singer with I Cugini di Campagna. Today, I collaborate with two active bands: Uncle Olaf and Houdini Righini.

Artists and producers I've worked with include Gigi D’Agostino, Benny Benassi, Bob Sinclar, Molella, Gianluca Vacchi, LA Vision, Samuele Sartini, Teo Mandrelli and many others. Every project calls for listening, context and deliberate choices: to me, mastering is the final creative step before the music reaches its audience.
